WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
Are you enticed by the idea of drawing and building your own anime character? Whether you’re picking up a new hobby, or are an artist who’s looking to learn more about the fundamentals of drawing techniques and character building, this course is definitely for you!
This course will be covering a wide range of topics that will help you get started with drawing and creating your own anime character. From basic facial expressions, anatomy and props, to techniques regarding colouring, line weighting and even building personality, this course will help boost your understanding in all of these fields and so much more!
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This course is for anyone who wants to create and draw their own anime characters. beginners and intermediate digital artists who are willing to draw and create both intricate, yet simple and appealing characters.
Whether you’re transferring to digital, already drawing or simply wanting to start a new hobby, this is for you! I will be covering core concepts such as anatomy and properly using references to build up and enhance your artwork.
WHAT WILL THE STUDENTS ACHIEVE?
By the end of this course, you will understand the basics of drawing beautiful anime styled faces, anatomy, and interesting poses. You will know the basics of coloring, blending and shading techniques using a digital medium. When you are done, you would have created you very own, unique anime styled character, and you would understand the process of integrating them into their world! As a bonus, I will also explain my own personal method of how developed as an artist, as well as many cool tips and tricks that will help you along the way.

Hello there!
I am Krystaki, but you can call me Krys, and I am currently a university student. I am a self-taught, freelance illustrator who resides in Canada. Growing up, I loved drawing as a hobby and I decided to get serious about it. After years of experimenting, I realized that I enjoyed drawing original characters and fashion in general. With this knowledge, I decided to expand on my understanding in this field and I am confident I can share this knowledge with others as this is something people seemed to love! I love teaching and helping others, especially if it is in my field of interest. One thing I struggled with most was developing a style, but I was able to address these issues and I hope to share these issues to help others. I am thankful to have this opportunity!
