Meet Your Creator

Hello!

I am Manon Bijkerk but you might know me as La Nonette.
I’m a full time illustrator from the Netherlands, and I own my own label with prints and goodies.
I’ve always loved to draw and decided to make it my profession pretty early on.
After my graduation from studying illustration I’ve developed a fairly unique and recognizable personal style.
I co-own a creative centre in the Netherlands where I teach Illustration, style development and character design.
I’m really glad I get to teach all around the world with this online course!
I like to work with all kinds of materials and programs but I definitely like gouache the most.
This course is based on my personal project where I’ve been drawing what I wear every Mondays for the last few years.
